For those who'd like a challenge

Every week BBC Radio nan Gàidheal broadcasts a short programme called Litir do luchd-ionnsachaidh (a letter to learners). The presenter reads out the letter (which can be on a variety of topics) and a transcript is put onto the BBC's website.

Some of you may find this a useful resource, especially at a more advanced stage. If you aren't at an advanced stage though I'd recommend learning one of these letters and attempting to translate it anyway.

I should warn you that this isn't aimed at total beginners. So if you are a beginner and open the link, don't get disheartened. Maybe try a few sentences or the first paragraph to see if you can get the gist of it.

There's also An Litir Bheag--The Little Letter--which is aimed at (advanced) beginners. It's a simplified version of each week's longer and more advanced Litir do Luchd-Ionnsachaidh. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b007jdfx
