"Tha sinn a' fuireach anns an Eilean Mhanainn."

Translation:We are living in the Isle of Man.

I'm wondering if "anns an Eilean Mhanainn" is correct. Does the Isle of Man have "the" included in its Gaelic name (like a' Ghearmailt)? -- Or do we use "anns" because the English way of saying this is "the Isle of Man"? The dictionaries I looked have "Eilean Mhanainn" with no article. So i would have said "ann an" but maybe that is wrong?
