Seo means more than 1 word?

My understanding is that seo is " this is" now it also means "Here is" how does that work? And how does one know which word is meant to be said or written. Please explain.

It is about proximity. "Seo" is something which is near to the subject ( or the person who is pointing to that object )

In English it can be translated as This is.. or here is..

The person who said that studying Russian helped with Gaelic was absolutely right. You can't really translate word for word. Languages have different internal workings (grammar). It's just a question of learning how you would say it in that language, get the sense of what you are saying then express the same concept in English using natural grammatical English.
