What's the difference between "a-nis" and "an-dràsta"?

  • an-dràsta = currently, at this moment, for now (something that perhaps might yet change)
  • a-nìs = "now" contrasting with a previous"then" (typically for when something has changed)

Very helpful! So, I'm here now, but I may not stay long: - an-dràsta. I'm here now, but I was elsewhere yesterday: - a-nis. Have I got it?

Why exactly is "mhath" lenited here?

Because it follows Glè.
