Translation:Seo an taigh.

Could anyone shed some light on when it's appropriate to "shorten" these types of sentences... as opposed to using "tha seo an taigh"?


"Seo" already pretty much means "this is" so tha isn't necessary. It would just be redundant, really. If you wanted to say something like "This house is red", though, it would be "Tha an taigh seo dearg."
