What about 'in lecto'?

in with the ablative specifies a static location, in lecto would be used if the action was done I bed. The action here is a movement towards the bed.

isn't that a special english thing, saying 'to bed' meaning 'into bed'? Wouldn't 'in lectum' be more acurate?
