Difficult to differentiate an t-ubhal from an t-sùil

An t-ubhal would be more an t-oo-al/an t-oo-el/an t-oo-ull rather than an t-ool though....

I’m more concerned about an t-fhuil (the blood) vs an t-suil (the eye) since the fh and s become silent due to eclipsis.
I’m guessing homophones and you can only tell from context....

Why is the silent in this sentence, is it because of the t-?

Yes. That's called eclipses.

Is that the case with every t-s___?
