Are you able to put what you have learnt on Duolingo into use?

When it comes to Scottish Gaelic -> Are you able to put what you have learnt on Duolingo into use?

How is it going ? Where do you use the same ?

Have you tried something like writing a short mail, chatting up with Gaelic speakers or advanced learners ?

I'm hoping to soon. I "met" some people on Facebook today who are in my area and planning to start a group.

Any details of any groups would be very welcome, especially in the Wester Ross/Skye area.
