Any etymological similarities to the German(ic) Natter?

Apparently, they both derive from the Proto-Indo-European (PIE) root (s)neh₁tr-. Nathair comes from the Proto-Celtic natrixs, which in turn derives from the PIE root. Natter comes from the Proto-Germanic nadraz, which also comes from the same PIE root.
