How would you tell the difference between "in a hotel" and "in the hotel"?

In the hotel - anns an taigh-òsta

I keep getting this wrong because I'm more inclined to say "Are you living at a hotel"

A bheil thu a' fuireach ann an taigh-òsta? The was no option for the a' in the answer. there was only an a with fiureach. 4 times in a row. You need to fix this How can it be wrong when the correct answer is not offered!

Correct answer (matched word for word) comes up as wrong!

I put the same words in the same order and it was not correct? A bheil thu a' fuireach ann an taigh-òsta? 3 times

Why is my answer wrong? It looks identical to the answer you give.
