Can a teacher block certain Stories from young students?

Is there a way to block Stories with questionable content from young students? I have the content feature disabled (blocking vocabulary), however the youngsters are still able to read stories that parents and I as a teacher deem inappropriate. I fear that I will have to discontinue use of Duolingo in my classrooms until I can learn how to use this filter. Thank you for your help.

I can understand your point of view. I think though that the stories are fine for people 4th grade and above. If your students are under 4th grade I can understand that.

Just block the whole stories.duolingo.com sub domain from your school Internet firewall/router and deny access to all stories.

That may be a bittt extreme because then she won't have any xD

What is inappropriate to you? All of these stories are fun and clean, even if they are a bit strange and dumb.

Please, I'm not looking for debate about content. I was just wondering if there is a way to block a story I do not want children reading.

Asserting that content is inappropriate is a claim that deserves to be scrutinized as you are damaging the reputation of Duolingo. In the interest of transparency, please tell us which story so concerns you. If it genuinely contains such material then other people with children or students deserve to be informed.

None of the stories are even bad. What will a child read that they haven't seen on TV?
