"He wants to read quietly in a library."

Translation:In bibliotheca tacite legere vult.

January 14, 2020

Duo is unhappy with 'In bibliotheca legere tacite vult'. Why?

Adverbs typically directly precede the verb they modify, so tacitē legere is more usual than legere tacitē. In bibliothecā legere tacitē vult implies that "he quietly wants to read in the library."
