Since Duolingo doesn't explain how to conjugate French verbs I was wondering if somebody else had any idea how to Conjugate verbs? If you know, thank you very much for all responses! -charis
I feel http://french.about.com/od/grammar/a/Introduction-To-French-Verbs.htm explains it very well, and there's links for examples of the different types of verbs that bend in various ways. Hope it helps a bit. :)
There are several good websites that can conjugate pretty much any verb you're looking for, but I would strongly recommend getting the 501 verbs book for French as well. It does a great job of both presenting conjugations and explaining irregularities and alternate forms, and also gives a list of idiomatic expressions involving each verb.
If you're moving into more advanced French, the definitive source for conjugations is the LaRousse conjugation manual, which is solely in French (no English translations).
I've found the following site extremely useful since it's the only one that offers pronunciation of over 35000 English, French, German, Italian and Spanish verb conjugation tables. Just type in the verb you would like to see conjugated and hear how each and every form of the verb of your choice is pronounced: http://conjugation.io/
