"Kiss all the aunties."

Translation:E honi i nā ʻanakē a pau.

January 24, 2020

Literal translation: "Kiss the aunties all."

What kind of gesture does this imply, a greeting or a parting kiss? A kiss on the cheek or a flying cheek as in to blow a kiss?

For some reason the answer I was given looks like “apau” with the line over the first a —- instead of “a pau”. Is it a glitch? I noticed it as an option in earlier questions but it is not in the DL dictionary. Mahalo nui.
