"Càite a bheil thu, a Mhòrag?"

Translation:Where are you, Morag?

January 26, 2020

Well, finally I have an answer. I was always a bit hazy about whether the vocative of my own name was correctly "a Mhòrag" or "a Mhòraig". Now I know, and I also know why. Top work, chaps.

I have seen "Moraig" as a name. God alone knows what is going on there.

I'm confused: when should I use Càite and whwn Càit. Gender doesn't seem to matter, and I keep doing is wrong. Please explain!
