Can you say "the risk is too high" in English?

I believe you can, yes.

You can say it in English but Duo marked it wrong.

i don't think great is a word to use in this sentence. Too big, too high...

"the risk is very big"? why very is not acceptable?

trop = too très = very

Isn't "the risk is too big" more relevant as GRAND if used for person it's translated as TALL and for things it can be translated as BIG so THE RISK IS TOO BIG sounds more familiar. Any clarification is welcomed MERCI

What's the difference between grand et gros?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/crbratu

When referring to a person, grand is tall and gros is fat. When used for risk, both can be valid, maybe gros is more familiar

I have heard " the risk is too much" or Too much risk, But not acceptable to DUO.

What you may have heard is not a translation of this sentence, however.

As crbratu said, the right translation for 'grand' would be 'big'. But if I am not mistaken, 'big' wasn't even offered as a solution, right? Only 'great', which in my opinion isn't right (but I am not a native speaker, so I am not really sure)

I wouldn´t say that is natural to English

Great is not correct. Must be big.
