Movies and stuff like that

I would like to watch a movie or a show in Gaelic. Are there any on Netflix or Youtube?

You want a lesson about what's been done to Scotland politically in the second half of the 20th century? A BBC film called "Diomhair" is on YouTube. It's almost all in Gaelic although I have seen a subtitled version.

The Beeb could easily dub it into English and show it on the main BBC Scotland network, but they won't.

It's not a movie though. It's politics and current affairs. Maybe more gripping than some movies.

ETA: I found the link. It's the subtitled version. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A4AbavFrsn8

Thanks. Thats perfect, because I'm really into politics!

I am currently watching The Outlander on Netflix. It has a small bit of Gaelic. Also, there is a movie on Youtube titled Seachd: The inaccessible Pinnacle, but I haven't watched it.

We created a document in the Files section of the Let's Learn Scottish Gaelic group on Facebook. It has links to films and shorts. There is another for books and audio books.

Here is that forum discussion link (with links to the lists):
