Here is a workaround for making the Arabic text larger. It doesn't make it huge, but I found it a great improvement.

I use it as well. I like the larger size of the alijsh script font, but I like the look of the original duolingo font. I guess we need to become accustomed to reading different font styles. Some are really fancy and I can't read them at all; the one in the script is fairly easy to read.

I find the default font with variations of line thickness easier to read, too. I imagine if you simply delete the alijsh font file in your fonts folder (assuming you're using Windows), you'll just get the default bigger. I didn't do this, but something serendipitously broke to cause this to happen.

That makes two of us! The first one is beautiful but mostly indecipherable to me; the last looks more like 'phags-pa written in the wrong direction...

I have been staring at the last one because I think it is the only one I have a shot at deciphering, and I think it says كليم (kaaf+lam+yay+mim: "kalim" or "kalem")

Then I did a google image search for كليم and it turned up pictures of rugs. As it turns out, there's a style of rug called Kilim. Apparently it is a word of Turkish origin, but I guess it was borrowed by Arabs. Click the link below to see the word كليم on a Facebook page.

There is apparently a boy's name Kaleem, but that is spelled as كاليم, and I don't see the letter alif right after the kaaf in that one, so I don't think that is it.
