This phrase is not the same as "There were rats in the hotel" ("Bha radain anns an taigh-òsta") ?

Am Faclair Beag gives the plural of "radan" as radanan.

I translated as How "... in THE hotel" and was wrong. Two questions earlier I translated ..anns an loch as ".. in A lake" - and I was wrong! How is one to know when it is which?
