"Tha mi a' cluinntinn ialtag."

Translation:I am hearing a bat.

February 11, 2020

Very difficult to hear a bat as well.

Surely "I hear a bat" is a perfectly good translation, given that we've been told GĂ idhlig doesn't have a simple present tense for most verbs?

Otherwise it'd be like forcing us to always translate the French j'entends une chauve-souris as I'm hearing a bat, despite French not having a present continuous.
