"Eu preciso explicar de novo?"

Translation:Do I need to explain it again?

July 10, 2014

"Do I need to explain again" was not accepted although it is completely correct.

I have reported it and several times, as it's not the first time I'm practicing this exercise. In English we definitely do not need the "it" in this sentence. I find it very frustrating to be judged by Duolingo in our native language. What is important to us, is to be judged on the language we are studying.

It has been corrected. I deliberately omitted "it" because I had the feeling that this could be one of those instances where there are two possible answers but DL accepts only one of them.

Does this have a sort of a boss-like undertone or is it a regular neutral level question to ask?

It sounds ok to me, but depending on your intonation, it may sound rude!

I would say the undertone here is of gloom, for having to repeat everything...

"Do I need to explain again" wasn't accepted. Still needs to be fixed in Duo
