More fashionable than functional for a virtual owl.

Because the person running Duome hasn't created one yet, I assume. Duome isn't part of Duolingo, so it's not something Duo can do anything about.

I know, but the users of Duome will be here.

But not necessarily whoever is running Duome and can add it.

As mentioned by others, Duome is not a part of Duolingo. I know that it's mostly the work of one person. I remember them thanking someone for creating the Latin owl, so I'm guessing the arty stuff is not really their thing.

Maybe you can help? And if so, start working of some of the others that will hopefully be in Beta soon???

I've imagined the Scottish Gaelic scarf as being mostly cyan with just the white "x" on front. Mirroring the Duolingo art... Then again, I don't have any problem with the unfettered owl either. Duo is a free spirit!

As an aside, are you referring to the Gaelic language as "Scottish"? 'Cos don't. "Scots" is an entirely different language also spoken in Scotland. Nobody calls Gaelic "Scottish", Duolingo only includes the word to avoid any confusion with Irish Gaelic, which is indeed correctly referred to as Irish.

I know, but the flag will be Scottish.

True, or if it's a scarf it could be tartan...

Sporting a stylish new scarf as of today :)
