Pretent there's Ds after the R. Syaing ddddd rolls your tongue. So replace all the Rs you see with "Rddd" in you head and you'll be golden. :)
Ahora tengo un 3% de fluidez en español de acuerdo a* Duolingo.
I get the breakdown of the words means, "can you do me a favor," but can someone provide the literal word translation? Is it por = for & favor = favor?
How we'd translate this sentence in spanish: 'I am sorry, Please forgive me' (Pls (por favor) correct this "Lo siento, Por favor, ____ yo".)
In English, "afternoon" comes before "evening," which in turn comes before "night." In Spanish there are only two words that cover these times of the day: "tarde" which means "afternoon," but overlaps with "evening," and "noche," which means "night" but also overlaps with "evening." Therefore, at 6:30pm it is ok to say either "buenas tardes" or "buenas noches."
Like someone tells me something inconceivable n I tell her "Oh please!"; Do I use "por favor" in Spanish in the same context? Any reply is welcome.
Yeah, it depends of the entonantion of your voice, if you play it slowly and dramaticly it works better!
Yeah, more than should be, could be. Most Spanish-speakers don't difference between the b and v sound, so we pronounce everything with /b/. And it's ok if foreigners keep their /v/ sounds, we'll understand anyway and doesn't sound wrong.
I read that the target sound is somewhere between b and v.
i cant believe i missed please for sorry. Gosh!!! ts hard enough i cant say them well but can write them perfectly well. anyone got a short cut for me?
We should have an option to switch the words around when we are done choosing them. For example, I accidentally chose favor por instead of por favor and I could'nt switch those around.
I think typing porfavor as one word should be considered a typo or spelling mistake not an incorrect answer.
This is an awesome app. Will take time to speak like hers. But sure practice can solve any problem
