So the highlighted word "escalera" has multiple translations. I chose "staircase," as in a staircase in her home. The same way someone might say "She has a car." This needs to be accepted.

Any spanish speaking person want to explain what staircase means to you? We are told it's wrong so perhaps it has a different meaning.

the "hover" dictionary answer included "staircase;" not sure why the owl nicked my heart...
