Translation:Is it twelve o'clock?
It’s the Gaelic way to state numbers over ten, you might think about it as literally dà uair deug two hours over-ten, trì cait deug three cats over-ten, etc.
The same with twenties, thirties, etc.: aon chat air fhichead one cat over twenty, twenty-one cats (but also fichead cait ’s a h-aon twenty cats and one).
