On the website, it works fine. On the Android app, however, Travel is showing 0/6, even though I completed the course. This is preventing me from progressing using the app.

Solution: Log out of the mobile app and back in. This appears to resync the device with the website. Hopefully, this might help at least one person experiencing a similar issue.
