What is the difference between, 'The winter is cold' and 'Winter is cold', how are they both written as 'اَلْشِّتاء بارِد'?
in English, Winter doesn't necessarily need the definite article. In Arabic it does.
So yeah, it is the same.
While "a winter is cold" or "a cold winter" translate to "شِتاءٌ باردٌ".
Thanks that helps!
