This recording seems to pronounce chan eil quite differently from elsewhere in the course

Sounds more like chan im then chan eil

I love how incredibly put off the speaker sounds about the fact that water isn't tasty.

Is it possible to have the option to slow this down like we can in other languages? It would be very appreciated.

That option afaik is only present in courses that use speech synthesis for the voices. This course uses recorded real speakers, so it isn’t possible.

Could Gaelic also omit the second "tasty" as English can? Cream is tasty, water isn´t.

Yeah, you could leave out the second blasta :)
