Is it possible to say, "Onde é sua casa?" instead?

Yah, this is also correct...

Why not: onde esta sua casa?

Isn't it "Ondé fica a sua casa?" ?

When talking about location, "ser" and "ficar" are used interchangeably.

Does Portuguese have Where question requiring only "ser" or can all Where question just use "estar" like in Spanish

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Paulenrique

For fixed things, you should use "ser".

why am I wrong in saying "Onde é sua casa?" when this was the phrase used earlier in this module. If it is correct should the response not be "Here is an alternative"

It's also right.

Can I also say "Cade a sua casa?"

It's not used to ask for localization, for example, to get someone's address. It's used when you can't find someone's house.
