Does it make a different if you say "É um livro novo" or "É um novo livro"? Both are accepted for this question.

In such example, they can be used interchangeably, but it may also mean: livro novo = new book (not shabby) / novo livro = a book that has just published/released.

O novo livro de receitas da Ana Maria tem 350 páginas — Ana Maria's new recipe book has 350 -trezentos e cinquenta- pages

Just curious, but a book is only new for a period of time. Wouldn't está be a better choice?
