"ceann mòr"

Translation:a big head

Can this be used in the same way as in English, i.e. someone with a big head thinks a lot of themselves? Or is it just a literal big head?

I have a sneaky feeling that it can have the same connotation as in English. I have a memory from my schooldays of someone talking about King Malcolm Canmore (was his name really Calum I now wonder...) and nobody being quite sure whether he just had a physically big head or whether he was in fact a conceited ass.
