Is this the normal order of this pairing in dutch? Like in English it is almost always 'salt and pepper'. Or is this just duolingo?
Peper en zout is more said than zout en peper.
Really? I'm a Dutch native and I always say 'zout en peper', not the other way 'round :P
Maybe it's something regional though :)

This is pepper as in the spice as opposed to the veggie.
The vegetable is paprika - like the condiment.... :)
Is it supposed to be pronounced like 'paper' ?
