How do I express the diffence between 'I do not still have grey hair' and 'I do not have grey hair yet' and fhathast seems to be used for both?

'Chan eil falt liath orm a-nis' (now) would cover' ' I do not still have grey hair' pretty well.

Still needing more to understand fhathast I think. I translated it as ''I do not have gray hair still.''

Why "liath" and not "glas" or "geal"?
