It would be great in my opinion if duo added a vocabulary feature, with quizzes/tests specifically for vocabulary and conjugation.

Is this not also translated, "Let us write!"?

No, it can only be 'we write' or 'we are writing' or 'we do write'.

'Let us write' is 'scribamus'.

I am pretty sure you need a subjunctive for that. A "jussive subjunctive".

The pronunciation is really not correct, it definitely sounds like "scribemus" to me (I am Italian)

The pronunciation is correct for me. (I am Brazilian). The letter "i" in portuguese/latin sounds like "e" in English.
