How to remember the German dative prepositions

A friend of mine gave me this little clue, sing the following list to the tune of the Blue Danube Waltz. The list is arranged alphabetically.

aus, außer, bei, mit, nach seit, von zu

All of these prepositions are always followed by the dative case.

Awesome. I've learned that set of prepositions before, but I never thought of using The Blue Danube!

Yeah, it made the list so easy for me to remember! Did you check out my hint on remembering the accusative by singing the list to London Bridge is Falling Down? :-)

You can do that also. Visualize Dative Team is made of Ausaubemit as a coah and naseivozu as the whole team. Take at least 10 seconds. Close your eyes and make this image bigger in your mind's eyes to strengthen this association. Good luck! You will never forget the Dative Preposition if you make this association
