"with the Belgian accent." why isn't it accepted?
I don't think any English speaker would say "the" instead of "a" in this sentence, generally. Maybe, if choosing between several accents that are being discussed: Was he the one with the German accent or the Belgian accent?

It does. I didn't think that was right, though, so I listened to the slow version, and the "le" disappears.
