Tiny Cards

Can you create a classroom with Tiny Cards?

Hi, Catherine. Way back in September, I chose Tinycards for my tech goal this year, and I am so very glad I did! They are saving my bacon (and my colleague's collective bacons) right now.

Tinycards are unfortunately not linked to your classrooms' assignments. (Although I have been begging Duolingo to add them!) So what I do is send my students the URL, and when the students have the deck golden, they send me a screenshot.

As you make your decks, look at the blue bar that says "pinned." Underneath it, the third button in the middle (it looks like a briefcase with a plus in it) will add the decks to specific collections that you make. I teach three languages and now have over a hundred decks, so that button is very helpful to keep things together.

I also made a word document where I list the URLs and the titles of the decks, so that I can search for them quickly.

You can also search for other people's decks. That might help you from having to re-invent the wheel. Feel free to search for mine if you teach Spanish, French, or Japanese, or ask me here specific questions.

I hope this helps!
