El fisho! LOL
Yesterday, while doing my Spanish work, I was asked to translate "I cook the fish", into Spanish, from English. I got "Yo cocino..." and I couldn't remember the correct word for fish! It's like I'd never learned it - but I had! I knew it started with a "p"..and that's all I could recall -so, I clicked on the microphone and said, "Yo cocino el fisho!".....and I was told it was correct - LOL....apparently they heard the "o" on the end of "fisho" and thought I'd said, "pescado". I got quite a giggle out of it!
Jajaja (LOL in Spanish). The voice exercises are hit-and-miss. I can stumble through a pronunciation and get it right, but a clear phrase gets me a "Try again". :)
I have to remember to slow down on the mic - I can say what is asked of me, but I usually go faster than the thing can keep up - if I slow down and really enunciate, I seem to get along with the mic. I'm glad I rushed through el fisho, though...lol
XD Nice! I might have to use that on my iPhone! I was asked to say- The red shoes - and I said, "El rojo.... uhh, zaptitos!" I got it right. I really want to follow you now, Kristi, and I don't know why... Jajaja.
I have a blast listening to Peggy Hill on "King of the Hill" do her "Spanish" - she makes me sound like an expert!...lol....
My favourite is when you type the mic icon while it's still speaking and it then thinks it's own voice is you speaking so it marks it as correct.
I've turned the microphone off because my computer barely works as it is, but I've done things like that. Thanks for making my day. :)
