The only difference between my answer and the one on the app is the accent on "Caite," yet my answer has been rejected four times by the app.

Is this standard pronunciation in Gàidhlig for Aonghais, or is it dialectal? This name exists in Irish too as Aonghus and it sounds almost like the anglicised version 'Angus' whereas the Gàidhlig is completely different, sounds like /"in-oosh"/

This sounds like In-oosh to me, that's why I looked in the comments to see what's standard.

Or is this only in the vocative?
