My e-mail notifications do not work at all! =(
Hi,
I ticked everything in order to receive notifications by e-mail, but I don't receive anything at all. This started a couple of days ago (maybe 5 or 6). This picture is the evidence:

Could you please help me? =( Thanks in advance.
Edit: I'm currently using
- Windows 7 64 bit Professionel with Service Pack 1
- Firefox 30.0 (will update it to 31.0 in a few hours)
- E-mail provider: mail.ru
EDIT: Problem solved. After I ticked everything, my mail provider automatically changed the settings and sent the mails directly to my spam filter. Thanks goes to Usagiboy7!

Hi MultiLinguAlex!
What operating system and browser are you using? Whenever you post to Troubleshooting, that information will help the tech team to help you.
Meanwhile, there is some troubleshooting you might be able to do on your end, just in case this isn't a glitch on Duolingo's end.

Be sure to check your spam, junkmail, and social folders. (If you are using Gmail, sometimes this is tricky because there are folders going vertical down the left side of the page, and tabs going horizontal near the top of your page.
-
Next, you might want to see if it has stacked your notifications into one email (meaning, open one of your email messages from Duolingo (if you've gotten any) and scroll down. Sometimes, if more than one person responds to the same discussion, they all get stacked on top of each other like email replies.)
-
Additionally, instruct your email provider not to mark Duolingo notifications as spam. You can do this by adding no-reply@duolingo.com to your address book. (Thanks Stec!)

And lastly, if you haven't created an email filter for Duolingo notifications, these could be scattered throughout your inbox mixed in with your non-Duolingo emails. The Duolingo wiki (unofficial) has created a guide to help users create email filters" http://duolingo.wikia.com/wiki/Filtering_emails_from_Duolingo
I hope this helps! ^_^
Okay, problem solved: Until a few days ago, mail.ru received every mail normally. Since then it happened that every mail was caught by the spam filter. Weird. Thanks for your help!

You mean no-reply@duolingo.com. ;)

With Gmail you can use the "All Mail" view. Some email providers/clients also let you run a search query over all your emails.
Sometimes, email will get sorted into these folders like "social" etc. Gmail snuck some in on me during an update and the folders weren't stacked on the left going up and down, but rather across the top of the page going from left to right. So, be sure to do a thorough look about. Since most people are not having this problem, I don't think the trouble is happening on Duolingo's end of things. But, I'm not a tech and can't say that for certain. I hope you're able to get this sorted. Good luck!

This is Betty Edson, bedson30@gmail.com. About two weeks ago, my daily reminders stopped, and I would like to get them. ALSO, I was at Level 17, and all of a sudden I'm back at level 12. Do you know why and how this happened? Thanks for your help. Betty

I also used to get reminders daily and no longer do, and I don't know what I did that caused them to stop. I would appreciate receiving them.
I've also been trying to figure out to contact Dulingo by e-mail. I was at level 17 (or possibly a couple of hundred under, I don't recall) and all of a sudden ('m receiving Level 12 lessons and don't know why. It also used to tell me each day how far I was from the next level, and I seem to have lost that feature. I would appreciate hearing from someone about this. bedson30@gmail.com.
Have you put on a daily goal? because if you have, the ability to see your level/progress bar would have disappeared and been replaced by your daily goal count. they have updated the website. I have stopped receiving emails also, I don't know why, but it happened. I still get reminders on the iPad app though, which I greatly recommend. I also recommend removing your email from this website, it can be misused, if anyone is to contact you about this, they will post on your stream.
