I just want to tell that I recently earned the final trophy in French level 1* at all skills and I am soo happy.

    Love, Bye

You have every thing to level 1 - true - but with so few XP I suspect you either started with many skills already credited and/or tested out. And level 1 is not "finished" - level 5 is finished - but if you already know French that is moot.

      Thanks!!! :) ;)

      Well done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

you are at the 9th level - the french lesseons -end is at th 25th level

french, and german need a lot of time - it would be better to choose one - because if you finished the 25 level - you will be at the basic level of the language - but up to you

        Thanks for the tip :)

Kati - no, "levels" 9 and 25 are merely a measure of how many XP you've gained. The measure of how much of the course you've completed is the number of crowns. There are a total of 792 in the French course, across 158 skills...

thanks - I never followed this - I take the lessons as they are - and after a while I reach the end :)

How is the level determined? I am not even at checkpoint 1 (I complete every lessons to level 5 before advancing, don't know why haha). Is it because of the vocabulary? Or crowns? Or something else?

Don't take them all to L5 before moving on. You'll learn much more effectively by moving on then returning - the later skill build on the earlier ones, so you'll become more familiar, and the return will help to cement it all in your memory.

How well would you say you know it now? What you can and can't do? I'm not dissing, just really curious because I am studying in also mostly on duolingo, maybe then and now I would go to another site for the conjugations and watch some movies for practice listening, but mostly duolingo.

Actually, I am living in France since 2 and a half years and I have also been learning French at school. I am a very fluent French speaker. So my teachers and friends think that I am a native French speaker but I'm not a native speaker. And what I cannot do is the conjugations, I mean I am not so good at it. But I tried this website and it's so good for me : https://leconjugueur.lefigaro.fr/

Anyways continue ainsi! Also check this website for grammar and stuff: https://www.lepointdufle.net/

I hope you learn it well. Good Luck.

Wait... Tu vives en France plus de deux ans, mais ne peux deja parler? Ca n a aucun sens...

                [deactivated user]

Je parle couramment(fluently) le français. C'est juste que je ne suis pas très bonne en conjugaison.

                  Tu comprends maintenant?

                  [deactivated user]
