The diction is bad, sounds like my grandfather with his teeth out. Ruairidh not Raonaid.

I clearly hear Raonaid /Rɤːnɪd’/ here (in its vocab entry in this sentence’s – Tha Raonaid pòsta – recording).

Ruairidh /Ruərɪ/ sounds completely different (you can hear it spoken by the same speaker in the sentence Tha Ruairidh inntinneach there).
