habites, habite, and habitent

I never know when to use habits, habite, or habitent. what is the difference?

These are different conjugations of habiter :

    - habiter - present tense -

        J'habite  I live
        Tu habites  You live
        Il/elle habite  He/she lives
        Nous habitons  We live
        Vous habitez  You live plural
        Ils/elles habitent  They live

To add to the posts already here, you should learn the corresponding verb endings for each pronoun since they apply to all regular -er verbs. It will save you a lot of time and many headaches if you pay attention to such patterns in the language.

No actually habits is not a conjugation from habiter. It means clothes.

No, habits is not a verb. Habitent is the 3rd person plural (they), but for the 1st person plural (we) it's habitons.

No. Pay attention to Jojo. Habits is a noun. Habites is a verb conjugation that is used only with Tu. And so on.
