Why 'dans la mauvaise église' not 'à la mauvaise église'?
It should be possible.
I am french and i no know why ;-)

quelle est la difference "a la mauvaise eglise / dans la mauvaise eglise"
The latter implies she went into the church, the former does not.
"à" she is not in the church
....."dans" she is inside the church...both are ok. Inbmy opinion...
The bride & probably her father too, would have to be pretty dumb not only to arrive at the wrong church but also to go into it before realising their mistake! It's possible :-)
Je ne suis pas d'accord !
