How do you hear the difference between ho and o? What should I listen for/look out for?
There is no audible difference because the H is mute in Italian; you can judge based on context, as 'o' is a conjunction and 'ho' is a verb. Same with 'a' (preposition) and 'ha' (verb).
Why is "He reads a newspaper or a book for the meal" incorrect?
when do you use "o" versus "oppure"
