I wrote 'We have been waiting in the queue for two hours' . This is not accepted.
Did you try, "We have been queuing for two hours,"?
we stand in line and we wait in a queue
Americans wait in a line. Americans don't use queue (it's a French word.)
You don't use café, bouquet of flowers, avant-garde, carte-blanche, cliché, déjà vu, faux pas, just to name a few?
"It's been two hours that we have been waiting in line."
