How to use "also" in french

I know that "also" in french means "aussi", but how should I put this word in a sentence?

- Je suis allé(e) à la plage en vacances

Now, this is a general sentence, and there are a few ways we can add “also” to it.

-Moi, je suis allé(e) aussi à la plage en vacances

This is quite emphatic. You’re saying “me, I also went….” And although it sounds strange in English, it’s perfectly normally to say. The position of aussi can be at the end of a sentence too

-Moi, je suis allé(e) à la plage en vacances aussi

This one is a bit less emphatic so up to you which one to use. Keep in mind this structure can be used with just about any French sentence so keep it in mind almost like a template.

Je suis allé(e) à la plage en vacances—et aussi au tournoi de tennis ! No?

I would say Moi aussi , je suis allé(e) aussi à la plage en vacances.

Hello I'm French, we use "aussi" more often in these ways :

  • Moi, je suis aussi allé(e) à la plage en vacances.

  • Moi aussi, je suis allé(e) à la plage en vacances.

  • Je suis allé(e) à la plage en vacances et aussi au tournoi de tennis.

  • J’ai aussi mangé une mousse au chocolat.
