What happened to "tips and Notes"

Or whatever it was called. There was a button on the page that would allow me to see a quick view of the target skill for the lesson, and it is no longer there. I also can't see the breakdown on new words. Is this a "chrome" issue or has there been an update that I've missed? It's very frustrating being asked to translate a word I haven't been taught yet with no way to find the answer. Any help would be appreciated.
