"Marc déteste voyager, rien ne lui plaît."

Translation:Marc hates traveling; he doesn't like anything.

Mark déteste voyager. Rien ne lui plait was marked wrong. Is the problem the spelling of Mark or the punctuation?

Probably the wrong spelling of Mark.

Can someone explain how did "rien ne lui plait" translate into "doesn't like anything"?

It's beyond me

It is literally: nothing pleases him

"Marc detests to travel" apparently means something entirely different
