the user interface language.
I am Chinese, using Chinese, want to learn English but https://www.duolingo.com/ applications and web user interface shows the Dutch, do not display Chinese, and there is no option to change the user interface language.
In case you haven't found out how to fix this, I just saw on another discussion and it worked for me:
"Just figured it out. I was trying to reset the language to english and went to https://www.duolingo.com/settings/direction. From there I selected to learn dutch from english and when I pressed the green button (To save changes but it was in dutch) it reset to english and restored my previous progress!"
It worked! I was clicking the blue button.... (had no idea what they said) I used a different browser and was able to login and all is back to normal... whew! Thanks!
I want to learn Dutch, but I'm an English speaker. I accidentally changed my settings and it is all in Dutch now...how do I change back?
At least it's not just me! I thought Duolingo thought I achieved Dutch mastery and decided to switch on me! LOL The problem is that the languages that I am actually studying are not showing up! And I wanted to take a lesson... and the new app just keeps closing itself and asking questions in Dutch... waaaah!!!!!
same here its turn it to dutch and i wanna learn English but all the instructions with other language i can't understand it does any one help please :(
Same here. I'm trying to get the site language back to English, but it is showing Dutch. There is no option that I can find that allows me to change the language. If I log out, the site reverts back to English.
